This service for puppies 6 months old or younger. We've been seeing a lot of puppies lately, so we thought this would be a good time to explain the benefits of bringing your fur baby for a puppy groom. A puppy groom should not be confused with a puppies first hair cut. The puppy groom consists of a bath, blow dry, brush out, ears cleaned and plucked (if needed), nails clipped, paw pads/feet trimmed, sanitary trimmed and face trimmed. Our grooming prices are specific to breed, coat condition and specific handling requirements. We do highly recommend adding a Nail Dremel service (an additional fee) to acquaint the puppy with the nail grinding process which allows for smoother nails. Note: all prices exclude a variable service fee, determined by significant product increases and alternative sourcing due to shortages.
This service could take anywhere from 2.5 hours to 5 hours based upon what will need to be done for each pup. Please note that appointment times are not guaranteed, as each dog and coat type is different. Appointment times move you to the front of the queue, however, previous appointments may have run over potentially pushing later appointments back.
Just a friendly reminder, if you cancel your appt less than 24 hrs in advance, are more than 15 mins late to the appt or fail to show up, you are subject to late or cancellation fees, and there is no guaranteed finish time or that we are able to accommodate you for the day.
Please ONE DOG PER APPOINTMENT. Because each service is catered to each dog specifically, please book one individual appointment per dog so we can cater to their needs.
We recommend doing a few puppy grooms (6 months & younger) or professional mini grooms (over 6 months) before doing the their first overall haircut. We see a lot of puppies come in for their first full haircut without any prior grooming exposure which can make them very nervous and it can come across as a bad experience for them. They are often terrified of dryers, clippers and scissors. We go slowly with them so they can understand this is a good experience. This allows us to give feedback to parents and recommend things to work on.
